BY AIR
Fly into Vancouver International Airport (YVR) - you can drive from there in under five hours, order a private transfer, or take the scheduled shuttle (Saturdays, during winter only).
Or fly into Kamloops (YKA) - you could drive from there in about 45 minutes, or take the scheduled shuttle which runs several departures a day, during winter only.
BY SCHEDULED SHUTTLE
There are several shuttle options to consider:
Kamloops International Airport-Sun Peaks
There are several departures a day between Kamloops International Airport and Sun Peaks resort. A stop at the Kamloops bus station is also possible.
From the airport to the resort departures start at 8.15am and the last trip is at 10.40pm. From Sun Peaks to Kamloops Airport, departures start at 4am and the last trip is at 5.30pm.
All schedules are subject to change due to flight arrival/departure times changing.
If you book your Sun Peaks accommodation through Compass Tours, you get a discount on the published shuttle rate. Children 10 and under ride for free!

Whistler-Sun Peaks
This service runs in winter only, on Sundays, Tuesdays and Fridays. For winter 09/10, service commences December 15th and ends on April 4th.
The shuttle departs Sun Peaks at 7.30am (pick-ups start at about 7am), arriving in Whistler at 12.30pm. The shuttle departs from Nancy Greene's Cahilty Lodge in Sun Peaks, but does some pick-ups around the resort prior to departure time.
The return trip departs Whistler at 2.30pm, arriving Sun Peaks at 6.30pm.
The shuttle stops at the Alpenglow Lodge, Delta Whistler Village Suites, Pan Pacific Whistler Mountainside, Fairmont Chateau Whistler, Listel Whistler, and Lake Placid Lodge, in Whistler.

Vancouver-Sun Peaks
This winter-only service departs Sun Peaks at 7.30am on Saturdays only, between December 15/09 and April 4/10. Pick-ups around the resort commence at 7am.
The shuttle stops at the Rosedale on Robson at 2pm, arriving at the Vancouver International Airport by 3pm.
The return trip departs the International Arrivals Hall on Level 2, just outside the exit doors, at 3.30pm.
Minimum 4 passengers are required to operate, with a maximum load of 13 passengers.

BY CAR
Drive up to Sun Peaks in your own car, or in a rented vehicle. Maps and directions are on this website.
Please be aware that this easy summer drive can be treacherous in winter, and that previous experience of driving mountain roads in snow and ice is recommended.
Check road conditions before you leave home.
All vehicles traveling to the area in winter must be fully winterized - fitted with tyres designed for winter or mud/snow driving, winter windscreen fluids, chains* in the trunk, etc.
Driving a four-wheel, all-wheel-drive, or a sport-utility vehicle does not guarantee that you'll stay on the road! Remember that you're on vacation - take the time to enjoy the journey!
* Not all chains fit all wheels - make sure that your vehicle has the correct size chains before heading out. Also, be sure you know how to install chains before you hit the road because putting chains on can be tricky, especially when you're fingers are cold and its dark out! Take the time to practice before departing - the staff at car rental outlets will be pleased to assist if you need help.

| This service will depart the bus stop by Woodhaven at Parking Lot 5 at 8am. One full circuit of the shuttle route will be made at this time. No other shuttle services will be available on these days. |
| An extended daily service will be in place Monday to Thursday during the Christmas/New Year period, President's Week, and March Break. |
| Friday through Sunday |
| This service will cover the entire resort and starts from Parking Lot 5 at 8am. It will drop guests at the village day lodge before heading out on the rest of its route, returning to the day lodge. |
| Each round trip takes approximately 30 minutes and the shuttle will run from 8am to 4pm. |
| Designated shuttle stops are marked at Woodhaven/P5, Stone's Throw, Trappers Landing, Village Day Lodge, Fairways at Eagle Court, Fairways at Mountain View, Burfield Drive, Sun Peaks Road (by fire hall), Sun Peaks Road at Sun Mountain Villas, Sun Peaks Road at Alpine Greens. |
Kamloops Shopping Shuttle
This winter-only shuttle service into a Kamloops shopping mall allows you to pick up major grocery items that may not be available in the resort, as well as other shopping opportunities at a variety of outlets.
The shopping shuttle runs on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, departing at 8.30am from the Village Day Lodge.
Shopping shuttle tickets may be purchased from the Adventure Center in the Village Day Lodge.
DIRECTIONS TO SUN PEAKS
From Kamloops
Traveling eastbound on the Trans Canada Highway 1, take the Highway 5 North exit to Jasper. Pass through three sets of traffic lights, then look for signs to Heffley Creek and Sun Peaks. Turn right at Heffley Creek and first left at the General Store (watch for Sun Peaks sign). Proceed along this paved road all the way to the resort village.
From Kelowna Airport
Upon exiting the airport turn right onto Highway 97 North. Proceed through Vernon - through the city on the main road. Turn left to Kamloops 10km after the first Vernon traffic light, still following Highway 97 North. Pass through Falkland and Westwold, after 79km stay in the left lane and take the Highway 1 West exit. After 26km, take the Highway 5 North exit to Jasper. Follow directions as above "From Kamloops".
From Vancouver
Take the Trans Canada Highway 1 East from Vancouver to Hope. Once in Hope, choose from two options to get to Kamloops (please heed the driving and weather conditions displayed on the digital overhead signs prior to choosing your route). Follow directions as above "From Kamloops".
From Whistler
Take Highway 99 North through Pemberton and Mt Currie, then turn right (east) to Lillooet via the Duffey Lake Road. (Be sure to check conditions before departing - this road is subject to severe winter conditions). Follow through to Hat Creek Ranch/Cache Creek on Highway 97. In Cache Creek, turn left (east) onto Highway 1, and drive to Kamloops. Follow directions as above "From Kamloops".
From Seattle
Take I5 North to Bellingham, exit on Meridian St, heading east and than north towards the Sumas border crossing. Once in Canada, take the Trans Canada Highway 1 East to Hope. Follow directions as above "From Vancouver", beginning in Hope.
