Skiing & Snowboarding
Some of the best powder in B.C.! Uncrowded slopes and few line-ups! Almost 3000ft of vertical in the second-largest ski area in British Columbia! Plus a terrain park featuring boarder cross, and halfpipe with grinder! Lift tickets, rental equipment, lessons.

Cross Country Skiing
The only lift-accessed cross country trails in North America are in Sun Peaks! Via the Mt Morrisey Express, ski 12km of intermediate trails groomed for both classic and skate skiing from the top of Mt Morrisey all the way down to the McGillivrary Lake warming hut! There's also a wide variety of shorter trails for all ability levels around the village. There are also 40km of wilderness trails plus a further 4km around the golf course, which are not trackset. Lessons and rental equipment are available.
Snowbikes
So much fun, you just have to try it! If you can ride a bike, you can snowbike! We recommend a two-hour lesson to get you started. Rental equipment is readily available.

Bungee Trampoline
Fun for the whole family! The sling-shot trampoline is located at the base of Sundance Mountain.
Tube Park
Family friendly! Accessed via the carpet lift, the elbow-shaped trail is at the top of the Sundance Platter. Daily from noon to 7pm. No hard boots, no multiple riders or rafting (except parent with underage or under-height child).
Sports Centre
The family-friendly Sports Centre offers change-rooms, an outdoor heated pool with indoor entry, kiddies' pool, and a hot tub. Adjacent to the centre are outdoor tennis courts which, in winter, are converted to the children's snowmobile area. In addition, winter brings a large outdoor ice rink nearby. The Sports Centre is located a few steps from the village core - just follow the road up the hill between the Nancy Greene's Cahilty Lodge and the Fireside Lodge. Open daily from 3.30pm (Mon-Fri) or 1pm (Sat/Sun), to 9pm. Children under 12 must be accompanied by a parent or responsible guardian.
Dog Sledding
Mush a team of friendly Alaskan racing huskies - its a truly Canadian outdoor experience! After a half-hour orientation, its off on your 5km or 12km trek through the rustic wilderness around Sun Peaks! At the end of the trail, unhook your team and realize how their amazing athletic ability and gentle nature have captured your heart! Guests should be in good physical condition as some running may be required. Minimum age to mush own team is 14 years.

Cat Trax
Ever wonder how fresh snow becomes the groomed corduroy on your favourite run? Experience snow grooming first-hand during these 45 minute tours! Tours depart at 5pm, 6pm and 7pm. Maximum one guest per cat. Minimum age 14 years.

Snowshoeing
If you can walk, you can snowshoe! Daytime and moonlight tours - there's something for every fitness level! Tours last approximately two hours. Rental equipment available.

Sleigh Rides
Sleigh rides take guests on a relaxing tour along the snow-covered trails of our beautiful village. Enjoy the lovely sights this resort has to offer. Tours run for approximately 30 minutes. Children under 4 ride free on adult's lap. Warm blankets provided.

Outdoor Ice Skating
Located east of the Sports Centre beside the barn, this family-friendly facility is open from noon to 8pm Monday to Thursday, and 11am to 9pm Friday through Saturday. Subject to suitable conditions.

Massage & Spa
Treat yourself at two locations in Sun Peaks! Essential Spa at the Pinnacle Lodge, or Sun Peaks Spa in the main village.
Kids' Adventure Park
Mini-snowmobiles and toboganning for children at the Sports Centre.
Sundance Playschool
Child-minding for children aged 18 months to five years, operated throught he snow school. Full day, half day and hourly (2 hour minimum).
Photo Shoots & Clinics
Experienced photographers at Alpine Images capture your Sun Peaks experience for posterity! Portrait and action pictures! Photo clinics are available for the enthusiast.

Sunday 6pm - Welcome Reception
Host Nancy Greene-Raine, Olympic Gold Medalist, welcomes you to the resort and lets you know about all the great events, activities and ski school programs. Receive a complimentary beverage. Stay afterwards to meet Nancy, Canada's Female Athlete Of The Century!
Monday 6.45pm - Evening Snowshoe Marshmallow Roast
The perfect family adventure! Head out on the glistening snow to a trapper's camp where you'll enjoy hot chocolate and roasted marshmallows beside a roaring fire!
Monday 6-8pm - Family Swim Night - Sports Centre
Come to this family event for swimming, organized games and water toys! (Children must be accompanied by an adult).
Tuesday 6-8pm - Family Casino Night - Village Day Lodge
Come on down and test your luck at our family casino night! You will receive $40,000 in "Sunny Money", which you will try to turn into your very own Sun Peaks Fortune! Head to Masa's Restaurant for dinner beforehand and receive a bonus $20,000 "Sunny Money"!
Wednesday 8am - Mountain Sunrise Breakfast & First Trax - Sunburst Chair
Meet at the Sunburst Chairlift at 8am. Package includes hot breakfast buffet at Sunburst Mid Mountain Restaurant, and first tracks on the slopes! Register by 4pm previous day.
Thursday 4pm - Fondue Dinner & Torchlight Descent - Sunburst Chair
A signature event at Sun Peaks! Check in at 4pm, at 5pm you ride up the Sunburst Chair, enjoy a delightful fondue accompanied by live music and a scrumptious fondue dessert! Ski back down to the village by torchlight!
Thursday 5-7pm - Slopeside Movie Night - Schoolhouse
Drop by our ski in/ski out theatre located in the Schoolhouse near the top of the platter lift to view the "Sun Peaks Selects" movie of the week!
Friday 5-8pm - Winter Family Fun Night
Family-oriented activities and games that everyone can enjoy!
Friday Noon-3pm - Race Series - Sundance Run
The Friday Race Series is great for skiers and boarders of all skill levels with an emphasis on fun! Families, friends, and individuals are encouraged to come out and race against each other or just for themselves. Following the races we host an awards ceremony at Masa's Restaurant where prizes are given out based on participation, not times. You will also receive either a couple of beers or soda pops! (Race dates subject to change - please inquire beforehand to confirm).
Saturday - Halfpipe & Rail Jam
A great chance to show off your skills in the Sun Peaks terrain park! Throw down some moves and you may be good enough to get some cool swag! All ages welcome. Select Saturdays only - please call for specific dates.
Saturday 7-9pm - Bonfire Night At The Skating Rink
Roast a hot dog or some marshmallows over and open fire! We're hosting skating games and a Canadian hockey shoot-out! Its fun for the whole family! Skate rentals not included.
